We must help remove Speaker Ryan, his stunning ignorance will cost us our country

One thing Orlando (and Trump’s response to it) has done is force our so-called leaders to, as we say in rural America, show themselves.

Although we already had ample evidence that Speaker Paul Ryan was doing everything in his power to undermine the Republican nominee for President of the United States, his rebuke of Trump yesterday sends a clear message about where the man stands.

He would prefer Hillary as President, or he wouldn’t have said what he did.

We have all known for a long time that Ryan is for open borders and can only presume that is because he must suck up to the donor class (most of whom are millionaires and billionaires who need cheap immigrant labor). Why he is also pandering to Muslims in the wake of Orlando is a mystery.

Also, Ryan has not lifted a finger to rein-in the UN/US State Department Refugee Admissions Program. Is he under the thumb of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops which takes in millions each year to resettle Muslim refugees to your towns?

Support Paul Nehlen in Wisconsin!

But, Ryan’s clear ignorance about Islamic supremacism and Islam’s goals for the world should be enough to make everyone reading this willing to, at minimum, open your wallets and send his primary competitor Paul Nehlen a contribution.

The Republican primary election date is August 9th (just 8 weeks away!). Maybe you have a little time to share with his campaign as well.

For more, visit Matthew Boyle’s good piece on Ryan’s response to Orlando, here.   And, watch Ryan yesterday in response to Trump’s excellent speech from New Hampshire where he reiterated his call for a ban on Muslim migration to America until we can figure out what is going on.

And, just a reminder, when you hear Ryan’s blather about “moderate” Muslims remember Act for America‘s Brigitte Gabriel‘s line (I’m paraphrasing):

Moderate (peaceful) Muslims are irrelevant!

Why? Because for many reasons they remain silent (with occasional perfunctory verbiage as they did in the wake of the Orlando massacre) as their fellow Muslims commit atrocities in the name of Allah. All devout Muslims know that Mohammed’s prescription is for Islam to dominate the world.

Again, go here to ABC News and watch Ryan yesterday.

Why is he still so ignorant?

Surely you have an extra $25 or so to send to Nehlen. Go here and send Ryan a message!

Endnote: Newt Gingrich has called for Congress to investigate ‘Islamic Supremacism.’ What are the odds that Ryan would ever go along with such a sensible idea?

This is what Cruz-supporting women think appeals to women?

…..Not this woman!

I’m actually speechless about this poster that was revealed in Wisconsin last night at an event to showcase Ted Cruz’s love of women (hmmm!).

If I only saw the poster, without the story, I would immediately assume it was an attack on Cruz as a dope-smoking gang-banger! (With everyone blaming it on the Trump campaign!)

Read the story here.  Dumb, dumb, dumb!

Cruz poster
Poster unveiled at a “celebration of women” event FOR Cruz! Join the revolution?

And, frankly I don’t even get it.  Who is blacklisting Cruz? It was his supporter Amanda Carpenter writing the blacklist of those who support Trump! See here.

TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) strikes again….

Corey who? Trump manages again to change the subject/control the news

When I turned CNN on early this morning I knew The Donald’s falling into the abortion manure pit last night would be all the news and it was.  As a Trump fan even I have to admit I was yelling at the TV for him to shut-up. All he had to say to MSNBC’s Chris Matthews was that he is ‘pro-Life and let’s move on to the next question.’  That is all!

(Trump must get back to core issues of national security, immigration and trade! And, oops! forgot jobs of course!)

Meghan McCain
Fox News’ Meghan McCain wants Trump campaign manager fired. Ms. McCain does not speak for all conservative women—thank God! One more reason to turn off Fox and read and watch more alternative media.

Instead, they will ALL be buzzing about abortion today…

The abortion flap may have accomplished one thing—this morning, in the half an hour I watched CNN, I didn’t hear the word ‘Corey’ once. (Albeit a small sampling of the news.)

I had gone to bed steaming over the “conservative women journalists” who were after Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski’s head last night.

Did you see that these esteemed ‘journalists’ are demanding Trump fire Lewandowski and I’ll tell you if Trump caves to the harpies, I’ll be taking down my Trump yard signs because when I look at the images of the “assault,” I see a pushy woman, where she wasn’t supposed to be in the first place, having been told twice by the Secret Service to stay back and obviously ignoring them.

Trump must continue to stand by Lewandowski.

Here is the news (at Newsmax) about Cruz’s girls.  Have they no more important issues to cover than this? Hillary maybe?  Aren’t they even willing to wait until the legal system can work?

I’ll bet many of you have never heard of most of these self-important ‘journalists.’  The top three (below) have been unabashed Cruz supporters from day one, so their little effort here is so transparent.  They say they are concerned about women journalists and their treatment, really, and you aren’t Cruz crusaders first and foremost?

No surprise Ms. Megyn Kelly had two of them on her show last night.

Dana Loesch (Radio America, Blaze TV); Katie Pavlich, (Townhall, Fox News); Meghan McCain, (America Now Radio, Cosmopolitan, Fox News); S.E. Cupp, ( New York Daily News, Glamour, CNN); Mary Katharine Ham, (CNN, The Federalist); Christine Rosen, (New Atlantis, Commentary); Christina Hoff Sommers, (American Enterprise Institute).

Bethany Mandel, (The Federalist, Acculturated); Emily Zanotti, (American Spectator); Elisha Krauss, (AM 870 The Answer); Karol Markowicz, (New York Post); Kristen Soltis Anderson, (Washington Examiner); Mona Charen, (Ethics and Public Policy Center, Creators Syndicate); Sarah Rumpf, (freelance); Brooke Rogers, (National Review); and Mary Chastain, (Breitbart).

As I have said many times, the fascinating thing about Trump’s run for the Presidency is that it has, in some strange way, defined so many in the media and throughout our political system.

I won’t look at conservative media (or listen to talk radio) again in the same way as I have for years.

And, that is especially so now that I know that the supposed conservative media is so heavily funded by political operatives.  See the Conservative Treehouse here.  Blogger Sundance begins:

Thanks to the candidacy of Donald Trump the financial intersection of money and political opinion, as guided by the monetary motives therein, has brought some amazing revelations to the surface.

Indeed it has!

Amanda Carpenter announces Nixonian enemies list

Who the heck is Amanda Carpenter you might be asking?

Amanda Carpenter
Ms. Carpenter’s description of herself at twitter: “CNN Contributor, Former Cruz comms director, DeMint speechwriter. Mommy. Wifey”

Among other things she is a writer for Mark Levin’s ‘Conservative Review’ and she has taken it upon herself to publicly identify as enemies anyone who is supporting Donald J. Trump for President.

For those of us old enough to remember Nixon (she apparently isn’t!) this move is really beneath Mark Levin (if anything is beneath him and others who are obviously suffering from TDS—Trump Derangement Syndrome!)

What I want to know is who do we call to be added to Amanda’s black list?

To see some of the wonderful patriotic leaders Ms. Amanda has targeted visit Breitbart here (some of my favorite people).  And, see her original Conservative Review article here.

Among the enemies of America are Dr. Ben Carson and Senator Jeff Sessions according to Amanda.

Who the heck was her editor to think this was a good idea?  Oh, it was Mark Levin!

Here is what Breitbart reporter Patrick Howley asked:

Why not a “blacklist” for conservatives who sold out the movement, and their own country, by embracing amnesty and the doctrine of open borders? Why not a “blacklist” for those who wrecked the New American Century within three years by staging a trillion-dollar nation-building experiment in the Middle East? Why not a “blacklist” for those currently trying to broker the convention to throw out the will of the people, or those who would rather support Hillary Clinton because at least they’ll still be able to gin up donations for opposing her?

Learn more about the many faces of Amanda Carpenter at Wikipedia here.

You can tweet Ms. Amanda here.  And, LOL! you can’t make this up! Love one another! She lists the Bible verses 1 John 4:7-9 on her tweet profile.

As I’ve been saying all along, I’m not calling myself a conservative anymore if girls like Amanda are now in charge of deciding who can be admitted to that elite group and who can’t!

Conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly endorses Donald Trump

It happened on Friday in her home town of St. Louis; the 91-year-old founder of the Eagle Forum joined Trump on the stage on the same day that Ben Carson (another strong Christian with a large following) endorsed Trump—a man many self-righteously call a ‘sinner.’

Since when are we electing a ‘pastor-in-chief?’  That is what I want to know!

In January Schlafly took on the snobs (Conservatism, Inc) at National Review. See here: http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2016/01/ouch-phyllis-schlafly-national-review-is-not-the-authority-on-conservatism/

I only met Mrs. Schlafly once, just over a year ago, and found her unbelievably mentally sharp for a woman in her 9th decade.  And, of course was immediately drawn to her because her greatest concern for America is mine as well, and that is a deep foreboding about what mass migration and uncontrolled Muslim immigration to America would do to the fabric of our Christian nation.

She obviously decided that Donald Trump was the only candidate who is willing and able to take on a massive, and what will be a dirty fight, to save our Judeo-Christian heritage and frankly Western civilization!

Call me senile, but that is all that matters this year.

Here is the Washington Post on the endorsement (emphasis is mine). The article begins with a discussion about Cruz courting the Schlafly endorsement:

But in the last few months, it became clear that Cruz might lose Schlafly’s support to a member of her hated “eastern elites.” After the first primary debate, Schlafly credited Trump with steering the Republican Party’s discussion of immigration away from amnesty and toward deportation. When Trump called for a temporary ban on Muslims entering the United States, Schlafly told readers of her syndicated column that his idea was constitutionally sound. In a December interview with WorldNetDaily, Schlafly wondered whether it was time for the grass roots to back Trump.

“He does look like he’s the last hope,” Schlafly said. “We don’t hear anybody saying what he’s saying. In fact, most of the people who ought to be lining up with him are attacking him.”

The next month, in an interview with Breitbart News, Schlafly said that Trump seemed to be best positioned to defeat the “kingmakers” of the Republican establishment, but that Cruz should be his first Supreme Court nominee.

“That’s the place I think Cruz should go,” Schlafly explained. “He’s eminently qualified for that. And that would be a perfect solution for him … his qualifications are enormous.”

The news of Schlafly’s endorsement, broken by the conservative St. Louis blogger Jim Hoft, inspired quick criticism from the more mainstream right.

Watch for it, as Schlafly, who is very familiar with vicious attacks, will now come under withering fire—from Republican Party elites among others.

Know the enemy: Is Stuart Stevens a saboteur of Republican campaigns?

Last night I happened to be watching Greta when the news broke that hundreds (thousands?) of anti-Trump (anti-free speech) protesters had gathered outside a Univ. of Chicago venue where a Trump rally was scheduled.

‘Strategist’ Stuart Stevens with Romney. Is Stevens one of the main reasons Romney lost in 2012? Is Stevens trying to make sure Rs lose in 2016?

In only a few minutes viewers learned that, concerned for safety of everyone involved, the Trump campaign had cancelled the rally.

However, Greta stuck with reports on the live footage which pretty quickly looked like a joke or an elaborate spoof.  As we watched police physically struggling with protesters, Fox’s man on the ground kept reporting everything was peaceful, it was all just Democracy in action (with Greta piping in that it sure didn’t look too non-violent to her).

I couldn’t take it anymore and switched to CNN. (BTW, you may learn a lot more by watching CNN rather than Fox News!).

At CNN viewers were treated to a barrage of criticism of Trump by “Republican strategist” Stuart Stevens who blamed the whole mess last night on Trump.

Meanwhile former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino calmly blasted Stevens for not placing the blame squarely on protesters whose primary goal was to silence Trump.  An arrogant Stevens could not give even a nod to Bongino (who said he is not a Trump supporter, but is a Cruz supporter) on the point and simply said, ‘I’m right and he (Bongino) is wrong.’

I had heard rumors (off and on for years) that Stevens had messed up campaigns where the Republican should have won.

I don’t have the energy to write a massive tome on Stevens (someone should write a single-topic blog on Stevens!). Google search him and you will see why!  Suffice it to say, he is a loser. Maybe more than that, maybe he is a dirty trickster who helps lose races for certain Republicans going back many years.  You only have to go back four years to where many credit him with being a chief strategist for Romney’s 2012 loss.

Why does CNN even use this guy, watch him here last fall say that Trump wouldn’t get past Iowa!  Is Stevens one of the reasons that the Republican establishment got caught flat-footed about Trump?

Catch me if you can!

What if he doesn’t have the best interests of the Republican Party at heart?  What if he is one of those psychopaths in suits?  You know the type—they want to manipulate and control people, but have no real moral core.  They just get joy out of screwing things up and not getting caught! That last bit, about not getting caught, while throwing out little hints all along, is a big part of the psychological high they enjoy.

I searched ‘Stuart Stevens and mole’ and sure enough he was involved in a situation involving a mole in the 2000 George W. Bush campaign.  See it here. I assume the real mole was never found.

Sundance writing at The Conservative Tree House has more on Stevens here.

I’ll say it again, thank goodness Donald Trump came on the scene this year!  His presence alone has brought (mad-with-rage) ‘Conservatism Inc’ out of the shadows.

If these people are ‘conservatives,’ I’m not one!

You all know I’m a Trump supporter (even after last night’s debate which admittedly I had to turn off).  I used to call myself “conservative” but no more.  While I’m still trying to figure out (LOL!) what I am, here are a couple of things I want you to see that are helping me decide which way to go….

Melania Trump talks to Greta
I happened to catch this interview and found Mrs. Trump to be an articulate and kind person. So, who the hell are you Ben Howe! And, why would Heritage Foundation and others hire you for anything! No wonder Heritage membership is down!

First, Diana West tweeted this earlier this morning:  “Why I left the movement…” by John Kluge at Ricochet.  Read it all, it resonates with me.

And, for the record, if Republican loser Mitt Romney thought he helped the anti-Trump cause yesterday, he blew it badly.

So, just as I was chagrined by the tenor of the debate last night (wishing Trump hadn’t gone there), comes this bit of information also from Diana West, here on Wednesday (hat tip: Richard, Blue Ridge Forum).  If this creep Ben Howe is a conservative I refuse to ever be one again (except to say I might consider being an ‘America First Conservative’ if the idea catches on).

Now to that other information from Diana West that I learned this morning which makes Trump’s language mild in comparison…

(Imagine how much work went into West’s collection of the vile language (The Right’s Trump lexicon) used by ‘conservatives’ in just the last few weeks and months!  Scroll down to ‘W’ is for whore!)

W is for Whore…..

super tuesday

I know you will all tell me it’s irrational, but frankly if Trump ends up going third party, I’m going with him.  And, you can thank the likes of Ben Howe (whoever he is!).

Mega-donors, Koch brothers, make first moves toward Rubio support

Surely this isn’t shocking news for most of you, but since we featured the Republican establishment donors, Charles and David Koch the other day, this update is in order.  The Kochs, like all of the large ruling class donors, want a candidate they can control….

Marc Short
Koch man, Marc Short, implanted in Rubio campaign—a sure sign of where the Republican big donor money is headed.

Unless something very dramatic happens for Ted Cruz, it looks like a massive battle is in the offing for the Republican Party between Marco Rubio, rapidly becoming the establishment elites’ favorite, and Donald Trump as the champion of those who want to throw the bums out.

And, just a reminder, Donald Trump was the man most feared by the wealthy globalists at Davos this year!

As we have said on many previous occasions (on facebook, on twitter and at RRW), Senator Marco Rubio went from being the Tea Party darling of 2010 to the water-carrier for the Open Borders Republicans (Gang of Eight in 2013!) and the Chamber of Commerce always looking for a ready supply of cheap immigrant labor.  [BTW, I would respect them more if they all just said that the amnesty agenda is about labor for big business, and stopped pretending they are humanitarians!]

So here is the story yesterday from Politico.  You will see that the Kochs aren’t going to make their final move into Rubio’s ranks unless/until Ted Cruz is out because many of the vaunted grassroots that the Kochs think they control are still Cruz fans.

Marc Short, the Koch brothers’ top political adviser in Washington and a trusted member of their inner circle for five years, is making a surprise move to the Marco Rubio campaign as a senior adviser as the Republican establishment ramps up efforts to stop Donald Trump.

Short — president of Freedom Partners, the Kochs’ umbrella political organization — will join the campaign in about a week and brings deep connections to the donor and grass-roots worlds. [Freedom Partners is more like a Chamber of Commerce, see here.  LOL! they all just love using buzz words like ‘freedom,’ ‘patriot,’ ‘grassroots,’ etc.—ed]

“Marc has been running the most sophisticated political operation for the last few cycles, and really knows the mood of the electorate,” said Scott Reed, senior political strategist at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “This is a big sign of consolidation by the party.”

Charles and David Koch have not endorsed in the presidential race and are unlikely to while there are still multiple viable candidates running against Trump, according to GOP sources. Top backers in the brothers’ network include supporters of Rubio and Sen. Ted Cruz. Any decision to get involved in the nomination race would likely come only if it narrowed to Trump and one of those senators, the sources said.

Happy Valentine’s Day! GOP donor-class frustrated, money not buying them happiness

Diana West just tweeted this Politico story from yesterday entitled: GOP mega-donors frozen in frustration and subtitled: Big money stops flowing as donors question its effectiveness, worry about Trump.

Kochs and Trump
Trump has the Koch Brothers fuming. They (and their phony grassroots group, Americans for Prosperity) want Open Borders and are fine with Muslim immigration to America. Photo: http://www.cnn.com/2016/01/08/politics/charles-koch-financial-times-interview/

Here is how the story by Kenneth Vogel begins:

Some of the biggest Republican donors, who collectively have contributed tens of millions of dollars to shape the presidential race, are tightening their purse strings out of frustration with their inability to boost their favored candidates, or to slow Donald Trump.

Rather than continuing to write huge checks to support the cluster of establishment candidates jockeying to emerge as the leading alternative to Trump, a billionaire real estate showman roundly despised by the GOP elite, these donors have mostly retreated to the sidelines. They’re watching anxiously, hoping that the field sorts itself out, according to interviews with a half dozen major donors or their representatives.

They can’t figure out how to put a stake through Trump’s heart!  And, are desperately looking to the Koch brothers to help figure out what to do.

I had meant to tell you about this Vanity Fair story (Can the Koch Brothers stop Trump?) about the uber-wealthy funders of Republican establishment/globalist candidates earlier this week, and never got to it. Please read it now!

I remember so well when the Kochs’ ‘Americans for Prosperity’ came on the scene and opened a Maryland franchise.  Those of us in the struggling Tea Party movement initially cheered the arrival of someone with some money for our causes.

We quickly became aware that, although they were eager to harness the grassroots enthusiasm of tea party-minded people on issues like Obamacare and taxes (both issues that would affect the Kochs’ business bottomline), there was one major issue they were not helping with and that was IMMIGRATION.  The Kochs are Open Borders, they, like all CEOs of giant corporations, want a steady supply of cheap immigrant labor.

We had some important immigration-related issues going on in Maryland then and they were awol for all of us who thought they were on our side, and I believe as a result AFP has fizzled here and I expect elsewhere as well.

Now back to Politico!

If anyone thinks Americans for Prosperity is going to fire up a grassroots movement against Trump, they are dreaming!  Americans for Prosperity is not a Tea Party group!  It is a front for the Koch brothers who are in many ways no better than George Soros is for America!

Vogel continues:

They’re (GOP Establishment mega-donors) looking for one of the existing deep-pocketed outside groups to take action sooner to halt Trump’s rise, with several donors specifically citing the political operation helmed by the billionaire industrialists Charles and David Koch.

The Minnesota mega-donor Hubbard, who has donated hundreds of thousands to the Koch network over the years (including at least $50,000 last year), but did not attend the winter meeting, said he planned to call Koch operatives to make the case that they should intervene.

So which of Trump’s policy fronts scare them the most—closing our borders to cheap migrant labor!

“It’s time to start educating,” he said. “It’s obvious that there is no way that we’re going to be able to make Mexico pay for a wall and all this other nonsense. I don’t think anybody’s done an effective job of pointing that out. Hopefully, we’ll have somebody like Americans for Prosperity and the Kochs who will step up to the plate and do it,” he said.

Everyone reading this, unless you want migration to America to continue at the present high level, run like hell if Americans for Prosperity (pretending to be Tea Party) shows up in your state.

Again, country-class people have figured out that they are not on our side on the issue of the century—immigration. Trump says he is!

And, as I’ve said previously: Whether Trump becomes President or not, he has done us all a great service by exposing who is, and who isn’t, first and foremost an America First Conservative!

Byron York: Establishment reeling after New Hampshire

Although news junkies have already seen this piece by Byron York at the Washington Examiner in the wake of the NH blowout by Donald Trump, I’m posting it simply because I was sick of seeing that smug John Sununu on Fox so often in the lead-up to the primary in his home state.

Thank goodness the ruling class is crumbling!

Here is York (Former Governor Sununu knew only one person who was voting for Trump!).

Why? because the establishment is insulated from the people!

Now, with Trump’s smashing victory in the New Hampshire primary, we know the answer [NH GOP leaders were out of touch, or there weren’t many Trump voters.—ed] There really were a lot of Trump voters out there, and party officials could not, or did not want, to see them.

According to exit polls, Trump won among men, and he won among women. He won all age groups. All income groups. Urban, suburban, rural. Every issue group. Gun owners and non-gun owners. Voters who call themselves very conservative and those who call themselves moderates.

In short, Trump won everybody.

During that state GOP meeting a couple of weeks ago, I asked former Gov. John Sununu, a man with a lifetime of knowledge about New Hampshire politics, if he knew any Trump supporters. Sununu pondered the question for a minute and said he thought a man who lived down the street from him might be for Trump.

Immediately after the story was published, I got an email from a real estate executive and former member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives named Lou Gargiulo, who happens to live down the street from Sununu. “I’m the guy!” Gargiulo told me. “Not only do I support Mr. Trump, I am the Rockingham County chairman of his campaign. The governor would be shocked to know that many of his other neighbors are Trump supporters as well.”

Gargiulo to York via e-mail after the vote:

“I think like most establishment Republicans, they thought if they kept promoting the narrative that Trump was a passing fancy and he would collapse, it would happen,” Gargiulo told me. “But this phenomena is the result of 25+ years of failed promises and lackluster leadership over multiple administrations from both parties. People have had it, and those in power don’t want to accept the reality they can no longer maintain the status quo.”

Read more here.

P.S. to Cruz supporters, I suspect Sununu didn’t know any of you either.
