With the help of patriots in Michigan, we have put together a video that we hope is one final thing to help persuade those sitting on the fence that by voting for Donald J. Trump as President there is a very good chance America will have a fresh start and thus America will be safe and prosperous again.
And, in combination with what we learned from the stunning announcement yesterday that the FBI was re-opening the Clinton e-mail scandal investigation, maybe this video and yesterday’s news will be the final straw for Americans who don’t want to see the American Presidency dragged through the mud for years to come if Hillary and slick Willy are returned to the Oval Office.
Consider this: If Hillary is elected (she is ill), it will be John Podesta and Huma Abedin running the country while Bill roams the corridors in search of interns.
When I attended that Rally4Refugees that fizzled and flopped near the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC last Sunday, I was handed a flyer (below) by one of many hard Lefties in attendance.
You may remember the Answer Coalition (a pro-Palestinian organization among other things) from during the Bush Administration when they organized anti-war rallies. I went to some of those to counter protest and got a good laugh at the assorted misfits and old hippies (thousands of them!) costumed, marching, chanting and beating on five gallon plastic buckets.
Well, you can expect that they will be back now as their dear leader Barack Hussein Obama (the President who brought peace to the Middle East, LOL!) is headed out the door and there is a good chance Donald Trump will be moving into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Their opening salvo against Trump will be in DC on September 12th when they plan to protest the Trump International Hotel grand opening.
Here is the flyer that was being handed out at the Rally4Refugees last weekend:
I’ll have more on this soon. It might be a great opportunity to show support for The Donald.
Go here for updates (great pics) on Trump International Hotel news.
This is the most important election of our lifetimes! We all know it!
Sorry, I had such big plans for this website as we head toward November and without a doubt the most important election in our lifetimes! But, I could not have foreseen how my first love—Refugee Resettlement Watch—would take off as the country starts to understand the enormous impact that bringing in tens of thousands of impoverished and not-carefully-vetted refugees would have on home towns everywhere.
If Hillary wins, she will see it as a mandate to open our gates even wider to the third world—wider than even Obama has.
Hopefully I can rectify my absence and post more here as we head toward the homestretch of Election 2016.
August 28th organizational meetings nationwide!
I was asked and have accepted a position as a founding member of ‘Tea Party for Trump’and share the roster with some of my early heroes of the Tea Party movement. LOL! Having started RRW in 2007, I think I was Tea Party before there was a Tea Party launched nationally in 2009!
Tea Party for Trumpis building teams of campaigners in every state. The first organizational meetings are happening a week from today! So please, please consider gathering together with some of your best Tea Party warriors on August 28th and plan for action beginning right after Labor Day.
Our combined 200+ years of grassroots activism will go straight to the battlegrounds of the 2016 election. We all saw the party conventions: one party painted a sobering, realistic view of the world as it exists today with a plan and players to fix it. The other party painted a pollyanna fantasy where nothing is wrong and things couldn’t be better. Grownups must deal with reality on reality’s terms, and that means a Republican President in 2016. Are you okay with 1.2% GDP growth and 94 million working age Americans out of the labor force?
Our goal is to provide the teams for phone banks and door-to-door operations. We will work with other organizations and their strategies in each state.
We will begin with Ohio, the state most ripe for Trump’s picking, and add additional battleground states as funding and time permit.
This is a separate effort from the Trump campaign and is seeking to enhance the campaign’s grassroots effort to get out the vote.
Go here to sign up and someone will be in touch about your first organizational meeting to be held next Sunday!
One of Donald Trump’s earliest supporters, conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly, has penned a piece published at World Net Daily citing evidence that Trump is correct in suggesting at least a temporary ban on Muslim immigration (until we figure out what is going on).
By the way, Schlafly lost some of her friends and longtime supporters when she early-on endorsed Donald Trump, but she has not wavered in that support.
Here she points out one of the most overlooked trends, so obvious to many of us, but apparently not to the Left or others who support MORE Muslim immigration: we can screen the first generation until the cows come home, but it is the second generation—the ones we fed, housed and educated on the taxpayer’s dime— which is killing us.
She uses the word “assimilation” but the Obama Administration has assiduously avoided that word which implies becoming American. They prefer “integration” with an implied side-by-side tolerance, but sends the message to the immigrants/refugees that they don’t need to become Americans.
“We admit more than 100,000 lifetime migrants from the Middle East each year,” Trump said. “Since 9/11, hundreds of migrants and their children have been implicated in terrorism in the United States.”
Trump was right to include the children of immigrants as part of the immigration problem. The Orlando shooter, Mateen, was born in the United States, but a witness said he referred to Afghanistan as “my country.”
Besides Orlando, other mass killings have been perpetrated by the U.S.-born children of Muslim immigrants or individuals who were brought here as children by their Muslim parents. Examples include one of the San Bernardino killers; the Fort Hood shooter, Maj. Nidal Hasan; the Tsarnaev brothers, who bombed the Boston Marathon in 2013; and the man who killed four active-duty Marines and a sailor in Chattanooga in 2015.
Read it all here and then don’t forget the Minnesota Somali ‘youths’ wanting to join ISIS by the dozen.
Editor: Sorry I haven’t written much here recently, the refugee issue is reaching a critical mass and I can barely keep up there—at Refugee Resettlement Watch.
One thing Orlando (and Trump’s response to it) has done is force our so-called leaders to, as we say in rural America, show themselves.
Although we already had ample evidence that Speaker Paul Ryan was doing everything in his power to undermine the Republican nominee for President of the United States, his rebuke of Trump yesterday sends a clear message about where the man stands.
He would prefer Hillary as President, or he wouldn’t have said what he did.
We have all known for a long time that Ryan is for open borders and can only presume that is because he must suck up to the donor class (most of whom are millionaires and billionaires who need cheap immigrant labor). Why he is also pandering to Muslims in the wake of Orlando is a mystery.
Also, Ryan has not lifted a finger to rein-in the UN/US State Department Refugee Admissions Program. Is he under the thumb of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops which takes in millions each year to resettle Muslim refugees to your towns?
But, Ryan’s clear ignorance about Islamic supremacism and Islam’s goals for the world should be enough to make everyone reading this willing to, at minimum, open your wallets and send his primary competitor Paul Nehlen a contribution.
The Republican primary election date is August 9th (just 8 weeks away!).Maybe you have a little time to share with his campaign as well.
For more, visit Matthew Boyle’s good piece on Ryan’s response to Orlando, here. And, watch Ryan yesterday in response to Trump’s excellent speech from New Hampshire where he reiterated his call for a ban on Muslim migration to America until we can figure out what is going on.
Why? Because for many reasons they remain silent (with occasional perfunctory verbiage as they did in the wake of the Orlando massacre) as their fellow Muslims commit atrocities in the name of Allah. All devout Muslims know that Mohammed’s prescription is for Islam to dominate the world.
Again, go hereto ABC News and watch Ryan yesterday.
Why is he still so ignorant?
Surely you have an extra $25 or so to send to Nehlen. Go here and send Ryan a message!
I just happened to pass through the kitchen this morning and catch the word “refugee” coming from Fox and Friends.
I still continue to be amazed that the ‘R’ word is coming from cable news hosts now on a regular basis. I bet for 8 of my nearly 9 years of writing about our dysfunctional UN/US State Department Refugee Admissions Program that word was never uttered on TV.
Trump used the word in a speech yesterday so his comments were the lead to this story about how refugees cost the US taxpayer $20,000 a piece to just bring them into the country! (Remember that figure does not include years of welfare subsidies, medical care and education for the kids!).
Anyway this is what I want you to see. His name is Scott Taylor and he is running for Congress in Virginia’s second district. Astoundingly, he is willing to speak out in an educated way about refugees coming to America from the Middle East!
Just like I said this week at RRW, about Mayor Ted Gatsasrunning for governor of New Hampshire, you must get behind candidates willing to take on the establishment (on the Left and Right) who never even question our refugee admissions policy.
Watch Tayloron Fox and Friends Weekend. LOL! How about Taylor for Trump’s VEEP (just kidding!).
And, everyone of us must now, immediately, begin or continue to educate ourselves about Islam and what the expanding Muslim population will do to Western Civilization, America and our way of life.
We can already see what it is doing to Europe, what more do we need! Do we think that somehow we will escape? Do you believe America’s melting pot can withstand the Islamic demographic juggernaut (the hijra!) coming our way?
Update May 31: be sure to see Leo Hohmann’s story at WND about the huge numbers of green cards we are giving out to Muslims from all over the world, here.
And, since I read that post last week, I see that America’s first Muslim Congressmen took to the podium at the National Press Club to exhort their fellow Muslims to get into the Presidential election to defeat Donald Trump and “Islamophobia” here.
It is not about ‘Islamophobia,’ it is all about migration and the fear among Islamists that Trump (and you) will demand a halt to the migration, the hijra.
In Minnesota, where Muslim Congressman Keith Ellison represents the large and growing Somali ‘community’ we see the Minneapolis Star Tribune(also last week) go ballistic over speaking engagements throughout the state by an Egyptian Coptic Christian using the Koran to explain to the public what Islam’s goals for world domination entail. (Hint: It involves migration!)
We have Daniel Greenfield, writing at Frontpagemagazine last week telling us that the Muslim migration will not end because Muslim countries are largely dysfunctional and Muslims procreate at higher levels than do westerners. The invasion will not end, for Europe and for us, there are just too many of them!
So how much do you know about Islam? Do you know what the ten words mean?
Reader Bob, sent us this very useful postat Real Facts Media (from March 2016)entitled:
Mohammed, Islamic History, and the Bloody Future of the West
It is one of the clearest/simplest descriptions I’ve seen (not that I have seen everything on the subject, so no offense to any other informative writers), and so I encourage you all to read it. (Bill Warner, one of the greatest experts on Islam and the Koran is mentioned.)
Does this sound like you?
Can I ask you a question?
Have you ever had that sickening feeling, deep down inside, as if some inner voice was trying to warn you that something is wrong?
It almost feels like the harder you try to push it away the louder it gets, gnawing away at your conscience.
And even if you try to ignore it… you can’t.
Every time there is a new Islamic terror attack and you learn the horrific details, that awkward and nauseating feeling comes back again.
It’s trying to warn you, “Something is very wrong.”
And after every Islamic terror attack, our politicians and media try desperately to assure us of two things:
These “terrorists do not represent Islam” and We are a multicultural society that welcomes Muslim immigration
And yet, that inner voice deep down inside you remains…
Because your inner voice is correct.
Please take the time to read the whole thing by clicking here. Learn that there are not two Islams—the peaceful and the radical—it is all one Islam! And, once educated, tell everyone you know to learn (and act) before it is too late and their numbers are too great!
***Do you know these words? “dawah, dhimmi, hijra, jizya, kafir, shaheed, shariah, takfir, taqiyya, ummah“
Reports are coming out of Michigan that suggest the state, already a leading state attracting Muslim migrants, will be getting a surge of Syrians as the end of fiscal year 2016 approaches (that would be September 30th).
Refugee numbers always surge in the late summer and up until the 30th because the feds and their contractors are desperate to get their numbers up to the magic number, this year it is 85,000, that the President asked for last fall. (Congress just winked at that number. What will they do when Obama comes in with a ‘determination’ of 100,000 for FY 2017?).
We also know that Michigan, a leading state for Syrian Muslim refugee resettlement, is a state that Donald Trump has on his target list to win.
There are 4 or so states that have gone to the Democrats in recent Presidential contests (Wisconsin and Michigan of course have gone for the D for decades), but are now considered to be ‘in play’ for The Donald.
Interestingly, three of the four are top refugee resettlement states (in the top ten!)—Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania(Wisconsin is no slouch either). I suspect that is no coincidence since the Dems have made it clear they are turning red states blue by changing the people!
So, here is a story at the Detroit Free Press that says a SURGE of Syrians (99% of Syrians entering the US as refugees are Muslims) is expected to arrive in the state in the next few months.
Could anger against Obama and the Democrats over burdening the state with low-skilled immigrants who will be drains on the welfare system, AND pose a security risk to their neighbors, be parlayed into enough votes for Donald Trump?
Frankly folks, the hard reality is that the flow of migrants in to America from all corners of the world will definitely be increased in a Hillary (or Bernie) administration because they will see a repudiation of Trump as an indicator that you don’t care about immigration.
WASHINGTON — With less than five months to go, the Obama administration remains far behind its target of resettling 10,000 Syrian refugees by Sept. 30, but officials are expecting to draw closer to that goal in the coming months with a spike in resettlements in Michigan and across the U.S.
If a surge is coming, Michigan is likely to be involved: Since the fiscal year began last October, 211 Syrians have been resettled in the state, more than anywhere else in the country — for a total of 386 resettlements between Jan. 1, 2015, and April 30 of this year. And that’s no surprise, considering southeastern Michigan has the largest Arab-American community in the U.S. with cultural and societal ties to the Middle East and deep experience with refugee resettlements.
But the numbers of those coming could dwarf what has been seen to date. According to the State Department, a total of 1,736 Syrians have been resettled in the U.S. since October, meaning it would take on average more than 1,650 resettlements a month through Sept. 30 to hit the 10,000 mark.
If Michigan — which has resettled about 12% of the Syrians accepted into the U.S. since the refugee crisis began last year — continues its trend, the state could welcome hundreds more in the near future, even as questions about immigration lurk as part of a fractious general election debate.
So again, I think that Michigan is pivotal in Election 2016.
Can a resettlement surge of mostly Muslim refugees to the state concern enough voters to reject a Democrat in the 2016 Presidential election?
On the campaign trail, folks in Michigan should ‘dog’ all candidates with questions about the future of Michigan. Will it be a state to be further colonized by Middle Easterners, or not?
Visit RRW for a lengthy archive on the state by clicking here. Believe it or not, a few years ago the US State Department tried to curtail resettlement to Michigan because the refugees would have few employment opportunities. I don’t know why they then subsequently opened the spigot!
Do you follow Sundance at the Conservative Tree House blog? If not, you should.
I don’t know who he (or she) is, or if it is really a ‘they,’ but here in an important post yesterday, Sundance reminds all of us that we can do what he/she has done in exposing the big money/power behind the throne.
Now I believe there is almost nothing so important as citizen journalists especially when they focus like a laser on a critical issue of our day!
Here is Sundance explaining how there are trillions of dollars at stake in the Presidential race and why Donald Trump is such a threat to them (the poster at right says it all).
But, this is the line that jumped out at me:
Anyone with even moderate research skills could assemble the same data if they had: a.) time, and b.) inclination. Sometimes, like the “splitter strategy“, conspiracies are not theory. The behavior inherent within the visible activity is simply just an outcome of a mutually beneficial plan.
Please, please find some time and join the small (so far!) army of citizen journalists, it is really the only hope we have to save America. Find one issue, be persistent, work a little every day, and find a way to get what you learn out to your fellow citizens even if it is just in your home town!
The framers understood the importance of the First Amendment—use it!
Yesterday was a picture-perfect spring day in western Maryland. It was the kind of day for a visit to friends, a lunch out, a little work in the garden, but instead I, and thousands of others from Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, walked what felt like a mile from the parking area to a huge airplane hangar at the Hagerstown Regional Airport where, packed like sardines, we waited for hours to hear what Presidential candidate Donald Trump had to say.
It was worth the wait.
The aching back and legs were all worth experiencing the phenomenon first hand.
On the roads lining the walk to the hangar were dozens of vendors selling Trump memorabilia. I asked one woman where she was from and she said Michigan. Imagine this! They follow Trump events around the country selling their wares. It must be lucrative for them and one had to admire their entrepreneurial spirits (if not the quality of their merchandise).
There were two small groups of demonstrators. There was a small (maybe 20) group of locals with homemade signs that seemed to favor the word “hate.” And, then there was another group, maybe 15, closer to the hangar with the characteristic professionally printed commie signs. You know they are always bright yellow with black letters (Workers World Party in this case).
Snipers were on roofs nearby and the security check involved metal detectors and bag searches.
Then came the wait….
Music played, people chatted with their compatriots and those around them for hours! Occasionally a chant broke out. A raised platform in the middle of the hangar held at least a dozen camera-men and reporters for presumably all of the major media.
While chatting with neighbors, we agreed that much of the passion (and endurance—you know Sunday afternoon, beautiful day) in a group like this was a direct result of watching the Obama presidency over the last 7 plus years and wanting to send a message that his Presidency would be most repudiated and nullified with Donald Trump in the White House.
The only problem I saw with the planning for the rally (they had food, water and porta pots), albeit it was done with only a couple of days notice, was the enormous wasted opportunity with a microphone available and a crowd of thousands getting bored (how many times could you send text messages and otherwise play with your phones).
I wished we could hear from others campaigning for office, or better still hear from the Trump delegate candidates who will be on the ballot tomorrow.
Since I was positioned maybe a third of the way back from the podium, I have no idea whether the hangar was completely full, but I am told it was.
My uneducated guess put the crowd size at about 7,000-10,000. The local newspaper, the Hagerstown Herald Mailputs it at 5,000. Trump himself put it at 18,000 (you did have to go on line and get tickets so maybe he did have the best handle on the number). But, no matter the size, the energy was electric and looking around it was evident that Trump supporters come from all walks of life.
One of my friends said she felt safe because many of the men, they were young and old, looked like they could take care of themselves and us if something bad happened. I put the crowd as almost evenly split between men and women (so much for the notion that women don’t like Trump).
Trump was supposed to fly in at 4 p.m. but it was nearly five before his well-known Trump helicopter arrived to booming triumphant music.
He spoke for about an hour with no teleprompter and no sign that he was going to follow the supposed instructions of his new campaign hires to look and sound presidential.
The audience roared and laughed along with him especially cheering his statements about getting rid of Obamacare and Common Core. They roared approval of his trademark build-the-wall plans, and his adamant assertion that he will fight for the second amendment and take care of vets.
And, of course his ideas on trade and jobs were a focal point as he several times reported on how much manufacturing Maryland has lost in recent decades. (You can watch it all in replay, here).
I was struck by his use of the words a couple of times near the end—“America First!”—the two words that I believe sum up his entire message.
Only one line in the Herald Mail story mentioned the real genius of the speech, he made the audience feel like they were in this with him, that he didn’t care who endorsed him as long as we, the voters, did:
I want your endorsement,” he said to cheers.
Much to my surprise, when it was all over, Trump did not jump in the waiting helicopter and immediately fly away. He stayed for at least another half an hour talking to people along the rail that held hundreds of diehard fans back as they snapped photos of him. Then he took group photos on the tarmac with military (or police). (I couldn’t tell from where I stood.)
I was able to see aide Stephen Miller on the tarmac with him. You may know him as the former aide to Senator Jeff Sessions and a national expert on the issue of immigration.
All in all, it was well worth giving up a beautiful day because my friends and I agreed that we were witnessing history in the making (no matter how it turns out).
