Conservative Tree House blogger says you can do it too!

Do you follow Sundance at the Conservative Tree House blog?  If not, you should.

darth20soros
And, it is not just Soros on the Left, but the Murdochs and Kochs on the Right!

I don’t know who he (or she) is, or if it is really a ‘they,’ but here in an important post yesterday, Sundance reminds all of us that we can do what he/she has done in exposing the big money/power behind the throne.

I didn’t know it when I started to write about the UN/US State Department Refugee Admissions Program that single-issue/investigative blogging held so much promise.

Now I believe there is almost nothing so important as citizen journalists especially when they focus like a laser on a critical issue of our day!

Here is Sundance explaining how there are trillions of dollars at stake in the Presidential race and why Donald Trump is such a threat to them (the poster at right says it all).

But, this is the line that jumped out at me:

Anyone with even moderate research skills could assemble the same data if they had: a.) time, and b.) inclination.    Sometimes, like the “splitter strategy“, conspiracies are not theory.  The behavior inherent within the visible activity is simply just an outcome of a mutually beneficial plan.

Please, please find some time and join the small (so far!) army of citizen journalists, it is really the only hope we have to save America.  Find one issue, be persistent, work a little every day, and find a way to get what you learn out to your fellow citizens even if it is just in your home town!

The framers understood the importance of the First Amendment—use it!

And, do it fearlessly!

Trump comes to Hagerstown, MD

Yesterday was a picture-perfect spring day in western Maryland. It was the kind of day for a visit to friends, a lunch out, a little work in the garden, but instead I, and thousands of others from Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, walked what felt like a mile from the parking area to a huge airplane hangar at the Hagerstown Regional Airport where, packed like sardines, we waited for hours to hear what Presidential candidate Donald Trump had to say.

Trump lands in MD
Trump lands to booming triumphant music. Photo: my tall young friend Ruth!

It was worth the wait.

The aching back and legs were all worth experiencing the phenomenon first hand.

On the roads lining the walk to the hangar were dozens of vendors selling Trump memorabilia.  I asked one woman where she was from and she said Michigan. Imagine this! They follow Trump events around the country selling their wares. It must be lucrative for them and one had to admire their entrepreneurial spirits (if not the quality of their merchandise).

There were two small groups of demonstrators.  There was a small (maybe 20) group of locals with homemade signs that seemed to favor the word “hate.”  And, then there was another group, maybe 15, closer to the hangar with the characteristic professionally printed commie signs. You know they are always bright yellow with black letters (Workers World Party in this case).

Snipers were on roofs nearby and the security check involved metal detectors and bag searches.

Then came the wait….

Music played, people chatted with their compatriots and those around them for hours! Occasionally a chant broke out.  A raised platform in the middle of the hangar held at least a dozen camera-men and reporters for presumably all of the major media.

Trump button
The vendors got some $ from me!

While chatting with neighbors, we agreed that much of the passion (and endurance—you know Sunday afternoon, beautiful day) in a group like this was a direct result of watching the Obama presidency over the last 7 plus years and wanting to send a message that his Presidency would be most repudiated and nullified with Donald Trump in the White House.

The only problem I saw with the planning for the rally (they had food, water and porta pots), albeit it was done with only a couple of days notice, was the enormous wasted opportunity with a microphone available and a crowd of thousands getting bored (how many times could you send text messages and otherwise play with your phones).

I wished we could hear from others campaigning for office, or better still hear from the Trump delegate candidates who will be on the ballot tomorrow.

Since I was positioned maybe a third of the way back from the podium, I have no idea whether the hangar was completely full, but I am told it was.

My uneducated guess put the crowd size at about 7,000-10,000.  The local newspaper, the Hagerstown Herald Mail puts it at 5,000. Trump himself put it at 18,000 (you did have to go on line and get tickets so maybe he did have the best handle on the number).  But, no matter the size, the energy was electric and looking around it was evident that Trump supporters come from all walks of life.

One of my friends said she felt safe because many of the men, they were young and old, looked like they could take care of themselves and us if something bad happened.  I put the crowd as almost evenly split between men and women (so much for the notion that women don’t like Trump).

Lynn, Diana and me
Our excellent adventure! Lynn, Diana and me

Trump was supposed to fly in at 4 p.m. but it was nearly five before his well-known Trump helicopter arrived to booming triumphant music.

He spoke for about an hour with no teleprompter and no sign that he was going to follow the supposed instructions of his new campaign hires to look and sound presidential.

The audience roared and laughed along with him especially cheering his statements about getting rid of Obamacare and Common Core.  They roared approval of his trademark build-the-wall plans, and his adamant assertion that he will fight for the second amendment and take care of vets.

And, of course his ideas on trade and jobs were a focal point as he several times reported on how much manufacturing Maryland has lost in recent decades.  (You can watch it all in replay, here).

I was struck by his use of the words a couple of times near the end—“America First!”—the two words that I believe sum up his entire message.

Only one line in the Herald Mail story mentioned the real genius of the speech, he made the audience feel like they were in this with him, that he didn’t care who endorsed him as long as we, the voters, did:

I want your endorsement,” he said to cheers.

Much to my surprise, when it was all over, Trump did not jump in the waiting helicopter and immediately fly away.  He stayed for at least another half an hour talking to people along the rail that held hundreds of diehard fans back as they snapped photos of him.  Then he took group photos on the tarmac with military (or police). (I couldn’t tell from where I stood.)

I was able to see aide Stephen Miller on the tarmac with him. You may know him as the former aide to Senator Jeff Sessions and a national expert on the issue of immigration.

All in all, it was well worth giving up a beautiful day because my friends and I agreed that we were witnessing history in the making (no matter how it turns out).

We need more of this! Become a citizen journalist!

This is an incredible tale from a recent “town hall” in Northern Virginia. The citizen investigative reporter/journalist, C. Trauernicht, attended a public meeting and reports what was heard here at Conservative HQ.

I’ve only snipped a small segment of the article because I want you to read the whole thing especially if you live in Virginia where some of your elected officials are mentioned by name!

You too can do this!

Arlington Muslim Town Hall Meeting Bashes GOP Presidential Candidates

The “non-partisan” description was what drew me to the event. I fully expected there to be a thoughtful, educational, informative, respectful exchange of ideas. But that was not what happened.

Alfonso-638x425
Virginia Del Alfonzo Lopez (D-Arlington) mocked the Tea Party for concerns about Sharia law and called out “75-year old white Delegates in Richmond who want their VA back.”

Simply put, the organizers staged an event to bash VA Republican legislators, and presidential candidates Donald Trump and Ted Cruz. The “Town Hall Meeting” was highly partisan, to the point of distraction from the advertised topic.

There was no discussion about the tenets of Islam, no discussion about the tension between the Qur’an and the Hadith, and no discussion about the possible conflict within the Muslim community about their faith.

The first speaker was Nader Hasan, cousin of Major Nidal Hasan, known as the Fort Hood shooter. Nader described himself as “the epitome of the American dream,” and spoke about how he grew up in America, living a pleasant life. Never did he experience discrimination until after the Fort Hood shooting. [Then surprise! Continue reading…]

[….]

As the program moved through the next two panels of speakers, what attendees heard was consistent criticism of Republicans – ONLY. The VA legislators and Arlington County Board members who spoke were Democrats. The only Republican speaker identified was a representative of the Arlington County Republicans, and he sounded like an apologist for the Democrats. Even the two British speakers bashed Republicans!

Continue reading here, then get out there and find a public meeting like this near you! Don’t wait for a biased ‘mainstream media’ report on the event!

Attend and take good notes! Find a place to publish what you learn, write a letter-to-the editor, or better still: start your own blog!

Since 2009 (Obama!) $53 million has been spent to find new voters in immigrant population

We’ve read about this USCIS grant program over recent years where the Obama Administration is passing out grant money like candy to non-profit groups.  And, surprise (not!) some of the recipients of your money are some of the same federal contractors pouring refugees into your towns.

Obama and the Dems want to get as many permanent residents as possible through the citizenship process as fast as possible.

Remember they are changing America by changing the people and they have to make sure large numbers can vote legally (in addition to those who will vote illegally)!

free citizenship classes
Not free to US taxpayers!

It sounds good—getting immigrants prepared to be American citizens, but it also strikes me as one more pile of boodle for refugee contractors already awash in your money.

Here is a recent press release from USCIS announcing the next traunch of your money available to the non-profits.

Grants will support citizenship preparation services for permanent residents

WASHINGTON—U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is now accepting applications for two funding opportunities under the Citizenship and Integration Grant Program. These are competitive grant opportunities for organizations that prepare permanent residents for naturalization and promote civic integration through increased knowledge of English, U.S. history and civics. The two programs will provide up to $10 million in grants for citizenship preparation programs in communities across the country. Applications are due by April 22.

Through these grant opportunities, USCIS seeks to expand availability of high-quality citizenship preparation services throughout the country. The two opportunities are:

[….]

Since 2009, USCIS has awarded approximately $53 million through 262 grants to organizations that have provided citizenship preparation services to more than 138,000 permanent residents in 35 states and the District of Columbia.

Now go here and have a look at the grant recipients for 2015, most received $250,000 each.   I sure hope someone is auditing this program!

The Arab Community Center of Dearborn, MI got $250,000, Church World Service, Durham NC got $249,991, Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, Philadelphia ($250,000) and the union SEIU, New York got $250,000 to name just a few.

And, so if a “new American” is getting trained by one of these left-of-center organizations, three guesses on which party they will be voting for in the fall!

Trump’s idea of curtailing remittances to Mexico is a great idea (wall or no wall)

I have too much to do today to properly tell you all about how remittances (money sent by immigrants out of the US economy) are used to prop up economies around the world.

trump-border-wall (1)
Trump’s wall is doable! http://theconservativetreehouse.com/2016/02/18/cnn-runs-segment-on-trump-wall-being-very-doable-we-explain-how-mexico-pays/

And, no time to tell you about how terrorism is funded with some of that money, or that many of those dollars are taxpayer dollars you contributed to legal and illegal migrants through your welfare ‘charity.’

Or, how many of those dollars were stolen from the Food Stamp program.

Remittances are the reason the ‘temporary protective status’ never goes away for certain categories of immigrant in the US.

And, the dream of remittances sent back to Central America is why those countries don’t curtail the flight of tens of thousands of their youths to the American border. (spike coming!)  ‘Leaders’ there assume the kids will send money ‘home.’

Ana Sol-Gutierrez
Maryland Rep. admitted in 2013 debate on ‘Gang of Eight’ bill: “money is a principal driver of the foreign governments’ interest in immigration reform.” http://thehill.com/policy/international/281605-foreign-governments-lobby-hard-in-favor-of-immigration-reform

I’ve written a good bit over the years about the remittance game and how it is a major driver of immigration to America.  See posts here at RRW.

This is what the Washington Post said yesterday about the Trump plan (it even brought Obama to the podium to chastise Trump).

Suffice it to say, I am happy the issue has been so publicly mentioned because I don’t think most Americans understand how many billions of dollars leave the US every year through remittances and how that is a major reason migrants come here (to send money ‘home,’ not because they want necessarily to be American citizens!).

WASHINGTON — Donald Trump would try to force Mexico to pay for a border wall by targeting billions of dollars in remittances sent by immigrants living in the U.S., according to a memo released by his campaign Tuesday.

The memo outlines in new detail how Trump would try to compel Mexico to pay for the 1,000-mile wall he’s promised to build along the Southern border if he becomes president.

In his proposal, Trump threatened to change a rule under the USA Patriot Act, an anti-terrorism law, to cut off a portion of the funds sent to Mexico through money transfers known as remittances. His plan would also bar non-Americans from wiring money outside of the U.S. unless they can provide documentation establishing their legal status in the country.

Trump said he would withdraw the threat if Mexico makes a one-time payment to finance the wall.

“It’s an easy decision for Mexico: make a one-time payment of $5-10 billion to ensure that $24 billion continues to flow into their country year after year,” the memo reads.

By the way, the Dems are quick to tell us that food stamp dollars and other welfare payments to indigent immigrants fuels the US economy as those dollars return via goods and services purchased.

Isn’t it time we find out exactly how our tax dollars prop up third world nations through uncontrolled movement of those dollars out of the country?

The Republicans who are running the House and Senate should be investigating the loss to the US economy of the billions leaving the country via remittances, wall or no wall (Trump or no Trump!). So, where have they been?

There is hope for American college kids after all! Chalking for free speech in 2016!

Surely you heard the news recently about the sensitive students who got up one morning last month at Emory University and saw ‘Trump 2016’ written in chalk on the Atlanta, GA campus.

“We are in pain” they said (here).

Now watch the incredible campus campaign the traumatized Emory students have inspired (hat tip: Sundance for the video).

Feel the chalk!

Did you see it? Even some at the University of Maryland got into the fun of mocking “the little darlings” of Emory!  Free speech lives!

No chalk, no sidewalk?

I saw a recommendation of something you too can do.  Take a pad of post-it notes and write ‘Trump 2016′ (or whatever, be civil) on each page, keep it in your car and stick’em wherever you go.  (Do not deface any surface, however, with markers or pens!).  Have fun!

Endnote: This whole Election 2016 is so fascinating (humorous too!), I’m finding I’m getting nothing productive done as I wander aimlessly around social media finding new and more stunning news by the minute. How about you? Having the same problem?

This is what Cruz-supporting women think appeals to women?

…..Not this woman!

I’m actually speechless about this poster that was revealed in Wisconsin last night at an event to showcase Ted Cruz’s love of women (hmmm!).

If I only saw the poster, without the story, I would immediately assume it was an attack on Cruz as a dope-smoking gang-banger! (With everyone blaming it on the Trump campaign!)

Read the story here.  Dumb, dumb, dumb!

Cruz poster
Poster unveiled at a “celebration of women” event FOR Cruz! Join the revolution?

And, frankly I don’t even get it.  Who is blacklisting Cruz? It was his supporter Amanda Carpenter writing the blacklist of those who support Trump! See here.

TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) strikes again….

Corey who? Trump manages again to change the subject/control the news

When I turned CNN on early this morning I knew The Donald’s falling into the abortion manure pit last night would be all the news and it was.  As a Trump fan even I have to admit I was yelling at the TV for him to shut-up. All he had to say to MSNBC’s Chris Matthews was that he is ‘pro-Life and let’s move on to the next question.’  That is all!

(Trump must get back to core issues of national security, immigration and trade! And, oops! forgot jobs of course!)

Meghan McCain
Fox News’ Meghan McCain wants Trump campaign manager fired. Ms. McCain does not speak for all conservative women—thank God! One more reason to turn off Fox and read and watch more alternative media.

Instead, they will ALL be buzzing about abortion today…

The abortion flap may have accomplished one thing—this morning, in the half an hour I watched CNN, I didn’t hear the word ‘Corey’ once. (Albeit a small sampling of the news.)

I had gone to bed steaming over the “conservative women journalists” who were after Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski’s head last night.

Did you see that these esteemed ‘journalists’ are demanding Trump fire Lewandowski and I’ll tell you if Trump caves to the harpies, I’ll be taking down my Trump yard signs because when I look at the images of the “assault,” I see a pushy woman, where she wasn’t supposed to be in the first place, having been told twice by the Secret Service to stay back and obviously ignoring them.

Trump must continue to stand by Lewandowski.

Here is the news (at Newsmax) about Cruz’s girls.  Have they no more important issues to cover than this? Hillary maybe?  Aren’t they even willing to wait until the legal system can work?

I’ll bet many of you have never heard of most of these self-important ‘journalists.’  The top three (below) have been unabashed Cruz supporters from day one, so their little effort here is so transparent.  They say they are concerned about women journalists and their treatment, really, and you aren’t Cruz crusaders first and foremost?

No surprise Ms. Megyn Kelly had two of them on her show last night.

Dana Loesch (Radio America, Blaze TV); Katie Pavlich, (Townhall, Fox News); Meghan McCain, (America Now Radio, Cosmopolitan, Fox News); S.E. Cupp, ( New York Daily News, Glamour, CNN); Mary Katharine Ham, (CNN, The Federalist); Christine Rosen, (New Atlantis, Commentary); Christina Hoff Sommers, (American Enterprise Institute).

Bethany Mandel, (The Federalist, Acculturated); Emily Zanotti, (American Spectator); Elisha Krauss, (AM 870 The Answer); Karol Markowicz, (New York Post); Kristen Soltis Anderson, (Washington Examiner); Mona Charen, (Ethics and Public Policy Center, Creators Syndicate); Sarah Rumpf, (freelance); Brooke Rogers, (National Review); and Mary Chastain, (Breitbart).

As I have said many times, the fascinating thing about Trump’s run for the Presidency is that it has, in some strange way, defined so many in the media and throughout our political system.

I won’t look at conservative media (or listen to talk radio) again in the same way as I have for years.

And, that is especially so now that I know that the supposed conservative media is so heavily funded by political operatives.  See the Conservative Treehouse here.  Blogger Sundance begins:

Thanks to the candidacy of Donald Trump the financial intersection of money and political opinion, as guided by the monetary motives therein, has brought some amazing revelations to the surface.

Indeed it has!

Do liberals hate horses (along with the police)? Sure looks like it!

For those who know me, you know this photo of a liberal, anti-Trump supporter smacking a police horse in Kansas City is disturbing.

We are beaten over the head (excuse the pun) and called haters because we support Donald Trump, but look at the face of the Far Left agitator April Foster as she goes after Dan, the police horse—a service animal just doing his job.

So who are the real haters here?

A protester pushes a police horse outside a rally for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump at the Arvest Bank Theater in Kansas City, Mo., on Saturday, March 12, 2016. (Christopher Smith/Kansas City Star/TNS)
http://www.breitbart.com/2016-presidential-race/2016/03/20/anti-trump-protester-april-foster-charged-with-hitting-police-horse-in-kansas-city/

I posted the story (yes, we have stories too) from Breitbart at my facebook page (with a mention of #JusticeforDan), but when I saw it just now I became annoyed again.  My friend Cathy suggested #horselivesmatter! But, I see there is already a hashtag for Horse Lives Matter, and this story was tweeted there.

Actually that picture above, where she is hitting Dan, is after she tried scaring Dan by shouting in his face (these horses are extremely well-trained to not respond to such aggression).

April shouting at Dan
You can see in his eye that Dan is a little afraid, but is remaining calm because that is his job and he knows it.

Did you wonder what that banner Ms. Foster is carrying says?

I did! And, found it here being proudly held by the peaceful, kind and loving Ms. Foster.

April Foster banner
Ms. Foster (a self-described ‘commie’) says if you are a Trump supporter you are a Nazi or a Klansman. PYO is the Progressive Youth Organization. https://www.facebook.com/Progressivekc/photos/pb.269038513302107.-2207520000.1458443573./479534025585887/?type=3&theater

Please read ‘her’ story at Gateway Pundit where blogger Kristinn Taylor quotes from the police report:

Police said Foster approached an officer and his horse named Dan and began yelling and screaming in the horse’s face, trying to scare the animal.

“When this tactic did not work she attempted to push my horse with no success. I observed this to only make her more angry and violent and in a last attempt she struck my horse in the face with an open hand,” the officer’s report said.

KCTV 5 reported that ‘non-violent’ protester Ms. Foster has a court date.

Anyone in KC on May 4th (9 a.m.) might want to stop by!  Afterall, #horselivesmatter and #JusticeforDan!

April J. Foster, 29, was arrested about 5 p.m. Friday in the 9200 block of Ward Parkway and charged with abuse of a police service animal. Foster was later released after posting a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Municipal Court on May 4.

The story gets much bigger when you have a look at horse-hater Ms. Foster’s organization—Progressive Youth Organization.  See ‘Out with the racists, in with refugees.

I wonder if they have any connection to the now defunct Progressive Youth Organization of Afghanistan, here.  Hmmmm! Red-Green axis???

Stories, stories, stories, the Left’s tried and true method to jerk your chain

Well, maybe not your chain dear readers, because you get it, but for those not steeped in policy discussions on a daily basis.  Casual voters and skimmers of the news are particularly vulnerable.

Get out your tissues!  Rather than arguing the logic (illogic from our point of view) of federal initiatives—like the mass migration push of the Progressive Left, they always manage to get sympathetic stories about immigrants and refugees planted throughout the media in an effort to reach your emotions with the hope that you will forget your brains!

This is a ‘story’ from last week at the Daily Beast and it’s all about how a Muslim woman is now a US citizen thanks to Reagan’s 1986 (disastrous for us) amnesty. The title of the ‘story’ is: ‘A Muslim woman brought here by Reagan. Pushed away by Trump.’

Nancy and Farhana
The Daily Beast’s photo to illustrate their sob story… http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/03/20/a-muslim-woman-brought-here-by-reagan-pushed-away-by-trump.html

The ‘story’s’ hook is Nancy Reagan’s passing.  And, by the way, Farhana (the sympathetic star of the ‘story’) was not “brought here by Reagan.” Her father got in here illegally from Bangladesh and was granted amnesty (along with millions of other illegals) by Reagan.

Now Farhana, who always voted Republican (we are told) is being driven away from the political party she loves by Trump’s language.  I don’t need to go on, you get it, as if the Daily Beast cares one wit about one less Republican voter.

My point here is that we need to play the ‘story’ game every chance we get!

Those of us using our logic and reason when looking at public policy issues need to play their game more often—the let’s tell a ‘story’ game.

Esar Met closeup
Esar Met, a Burmese Muslim refugee, gets life in prison for murder of 7-year-old Christian girl. http://www.azcentral.com/story/news/nation/2014/05/14/utah-girl-killed-man-sentence/9094371/

For example, I never miss an opportunity to remind readers of that brutal rape and murder by a Muslim refugee of a little Christian girl in Salt Lake City a few years ago.  I reported it again here yesterday.

(And, by the way, the national media never picked up this ‘story’ even as the sensational trial went on for many weeks. Why? Because it didn’t fit the mainstream media’s narrative!)

Then there is the Iraqi refugee rapist who was living in Colorado Springs before he was sent to prison for the next 28 years, and the Kentucky refugee jihadists now doing time in federal prison.  Grrrr! You paid for their resettlement to America and now you will pay for their decades behind bars.

jasim_ramadon_mug_shot_cropped
Jasim Ramadon, an Iraqi refugee convicted of raping Colorado Springs woman.

You get my drift. If the Open Borders Progressive Left is going to inundate the media with sympathetic migrant stories, you should be doing the same with the unsympathetic ones.

Don’t make anything up or exaggerate—just remember to use emotion as a strategic (powerful) political weapon when you write.

If they can use Farhana’s story, you can balance it with Met’s story!
