Trump’s idea of curtailing remittances to Mexico is a great idea (wall or no wall)

I have too much to do today to properly tell you all about how remittances (money sent by immigrants out of the US economy) are used to prop up economies around the world.

trump-border-wall (1)
Trump’s wall is doable! http://theconservativetreehouse.com/2016/02/18/cnn-runs-segment-on-trump-wall-being-very-doable-we-explain-how-mexico-pays/

And, no time to tell you about how terrorism is funded with some of that money, or that many of those dollars are taxpayer dollars you contributed to legal and illegal migrants through your welfare ‘charity.’

Or, how many of those dollars were stolen from the Food Stamp program.

Remittances are the reason the ‘temporary protective status’ never goes away for certain categories of immigrant in the US.

And, the dream of remittances sent back to Central America is why those countries don’t curtail the flight of tens of thousands of their youths to the American border. (spike coming!)  ‘Leaders’ there assume the kids will send money ‘home.’

Maryland Rep. admitted in 2013 debate on ‘Gang of Eight’ bill: “money is a principal driver of the foreign governments’ interest in immigration reform.” http://thehill.com/policy/international/281605-foreign-governments-lobby-hard-in-favor-of-immigration-reform

I’ve written a good bit over the years about the remittance game and how it is a major driver of immigration to America.  See posts here at RRW.

This is what the Washington Post said yesterday about the Trump plan (it even brought Obama to the podium to chastise Trump).

Suffice it to say, I am happy the issue has been so publicly mentioned because I don’t think most Americans understand how many billions of dollars leave the US every year through remittances and how that is a major reason migrants come here (to send money ‘home,’ not because they want necessarily to be American citizens!).

WASHINGTON — Donald Trump would try to force Mexico to pay for a border wall by targeting billions of dollars in remittances sent by immigrants living in the U.S., according to a memo released by his campaign Tuesday.

The memo outlines in new detail how Trump would try to compel Mexico to pay for the 1,000-mile wall he’s promised to build along the Southern border if he becomes president.

In his proposal, Trump threatened to change a rule under the USA Patriot Act, an anti-terrorism law, to cut off a portion of the funds sent to Mexico through money transfers known as remittances. His plan would also bar non-Americans from wiring money outside of the U.S. unless they can provide documentation establishing their legal status in the country.

Trump said he would withdraw the threat if Mexico makes a one-time payment to finance the wall.

“It’s an easy decision for Mexico: make a one-time payment of $5-10 billion to ensure that $24 billion continues to flow into their country year after year,” the memo reads.

By the way, the Dems are quick to tell us that food stamp dollars and other welfare payments to indigent immigrants fuels the US economy as those dollars return via goods and services purchased.

Isn’t it time we find out exactly how our tax dollars prop up third world nations through uncontrolled movement of those dollars out of the country?

The Republicans who are running the House and Senate should be investigating the loss to the US economy of the billions leaving the country via remittances, wall or no wall (Trump or no Trump!). So, where have they been?

Trump spokesman exposes feminist hypocrisy with comments on female genital mutilation

Stephen Miller CNN
Soft spoken Trump aide Stephen Miller lets them have it on CNN yesterday. Let’s talk about real issues effecting American women!

Good for Stephen Miller!

Readers, I had such big plans to write a lot here this morning (I have a backlog of good stuff), but got side tracked (first at Potomac Tea Party Report where I needed to remind Marylanders to register to vote by April 5th, and tell them about the largest mosque complex in America opening this week right here in MD!)

Then I got side tracked with a post on Georgia here where a resettlement contractor is trying to figure out how to survive if Trump is elected and their supply of Muslim refugees is cut off.

That was followed by a fit of annoyance when a reader sent me a Wall Street Journal story about “welcoming” Utah where WSJ reporter Miriam Jordan never mentioned the brutal rape of a Christian girl by a Muslim refugee—a story which I am never going to let anyone forget!

harpies

So now, little time for a report on how Trump spokesman Stephen Miller lectured the harpies (and harpy enablers) at CNN yesterday about how they run their mouths on “sexism” but never dare mention really awful things happening to American (mostly immigrant) women, like female genital mutilation.

But, not to worry, Julia Hahn at Breitbart tells the story in very thorough fashion here.  This is how she begins:

Members of Sunday morning’s panel on CNN State of the Union are oblivious to the barbaric, anti-Western practice facing hundreds of thousands of U.S. girls as a result of unbridled Muslim migration.

When the CNN panel sought to criticize Donald Trump for his so-called sexist retweet that has monopolized the news cycle for several days, Trump’s senior policy advisor Stephen Miller punched back, slamming Washington’s political class and corporate media for expressing “feigned indignation” about a retweet while ignoring serious issues facing U.S. women.

“The political class in Washington D.C. works itself up into a feigned indignation about things that don’t actually affect the lives of the American people,” said Stephen Miller.

Miller explained that the political class in Washington D.C. gets mad about the wrong things. Miller then proceeded to list issues that should actually be a source of righteous indignation: “We don’t get mad when Americans are murdered by illegal immigrants, we don’t get mad when people have their jobs taken by cheaper foreign workers here on visa programs, we don’t get mad when entire cities are crushed by our trade policies that send jobs overseas… So I think a big part of the Trump campaign is that people want to get mad about the right things.”

Learn more about what Miller said especially on female genital mutilation by continuing here.  See map, here, where women are most at risk in US for female genital mutilation (states with big Muslim populations!).

Obama’s new illegal ‘refugee’ program: vain attempt to stop a massive 2016 border invasion?

Another mass migration across our borders this year will assure Donald Trump will be the next President of the United States?

Beast train
The Democrats worst nightmare! A repeat of the 2014 border invasion.

Leo Hohmann writing at World Net Daily yesterday reports on the Obama Administration’s completely unlawful expansion of the Refugee Admissions Program that would give the United Nations responsibility to select and vet so-called Central American ‘refugees.’

Maybe you’ve seen the news, but it hasn’t gotten much play!  It is your job to make sure that it does!  Remember agitation!  Remember!  The UN is choosing your neighbors!

First, Hohmann describes the new program announced by Sec. of State Kerry on Wednesday.

World Net Daily:

The number of Central American migrants crossing illegally into the United States through the Southern border has grown exponentially under the Obama administration.

More than 130,000 came in 2014 alone, most of them welcomed by sanctuary cities and then protected from deportation by President Obama’s executive actions.

The legality of those actions remains unsettled and appears headed to the Supreme Court.

But now President Obama has invented a new way to continue the influx of migrants from Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador and do it in a way that is deemed “legal.” He will simply re-categorize them as “refugees.”

Secretary of State John Kerry announced Wednesday plans to expand a program to let Central Americans apply for refugee status before they attempt the long, arduous trip to the U.S.-Mexico border.

As such, Obama will place authority for the program under the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, who will pre-screen migrants from three Central American countries and decide which ones qualify as refugees eligible to come to the United States, the Associate Press reports.

Is the mass movement northward already in the works?  My guess is YES!

I don’t think the Central Americans and OTMs (Other than Mexicans) are going to wait around for the UN to screen them (haven’t we already heard it is a two year process!).  Heck! they don’t care about American Presidential politics!

What I predict is that all of those waiting south of the border, in Central and South America (including those from the Middle East and Africa who have made their way across the world in hopes of getting into the US), will see the success asylum seekers and illegal aliens have had by swarming European borders and will go-for-it in Obama’s last year in office suspecting (I suspect correctly) that they may not get another chance.

This (below) is what I said at WND.  Obama probably already knows that a massive migration across our border this year would hand the White House to the Republicans—most likely Donald Trump.  I surmise that the ‘legalization’ ploy is a vain effort to keep the swarm from happening.

Corcoran said the Central Americans don’t even meet the current definition of a refugee under international law. Most are economic migrants looking for better employment opportunities.

“They aren’t refugees. Refugees have to prove they were persecuted,” she said. “Running from crime or economic deprivation does not qualify you as a refugee under the United Nations’ definition. They have been working for years on expanding the definition. Even war is not a reason to become a refugee in the sense that you are permanently resettled in another country. It has to be that you were persecuted because of your religion or your race or your political beliefs.”

Corcoran said she expects a huge surge at the border this summer and fall.

“It occurred to me that we’re going to have a huge wave of people coming across the Southern border this year. They’re looking at Europe and how successful it’s been there, and they know this is Obama’s last year in office,” she said. “So look for a huge movement to swarm our borders, by whatever means. This is it. A great migration movement is getting ready to take place.”

But don’t look for the explosion of “refugees” from Central America to get too much media attention. If it does, that will just play into the hands of the Donald Trump presidential campaign.

“If they overplay their hand and make it so blatant and so huge this year, it could backfire and they could end up with Donald Trump in the White House,” Corcoran said.

It is very important for all of you to make this issue a front page story! Start talking about it now!  Check the numbers coming across the border and scream bloody murder each time there is a slight rise in the numbers!

***Update*** I see that the numbers for Unaccompanied alien children and families crossing the border illegally are already on target to surpass 2014.  Click here.  January 18th, see new post at RRW on the new wave of invaders by clicking here.

Church World Service will take illegal action as part of massive Election 2016 propaganda campaign

I knew it!  And, now we are seeing it in action!

Update January 8th: Ohio ‘peace and justice’ groups getting ready to break the law and hide aliens from Obama illegal alien raids, click here.

The recent Obama Administration order to round up illegal aliens (a tiny number!) and deport them is simply a ploy to fire up the No Borders movement, the Democrat base, in this all important election year.

Church World Service will be hiding illegal aliens!

Here is a story about the hard Left Church World Service, a federal refugee resettlement contractor, which uses $45 million of your dollars every year to change America by changing the people, is setting up hiding places throughout America where illegal aliens can be placed out of the reach of federal ICE agents.

mccullough-cws
CWS CEO Rev. John L. McCullough arrested at the White House in 2014 while protesting for amnesty for illegal aliens. These are not ‘churches’ but are Leftwing community organizers. McCullough pulls down a handsome six-figure salary partially funded by US taxpayers to do his NO borders political activities. Photo at Sojourners: https://sojo.net/articles/faith-leaders-arrested-white-house-calling-immigration-reform

There should be a law, if you break federal immigration law, you lose your federal funding (come on wimps in Congress!).

They want to resurrect the glory days (as they saw them) where churches broke the law and helped Central Americans get into America and then hid them until they could be spread out to towns across the US.  It was called The Sanctuary Movement.***

It is so apparent that this deportation order is part of a Democrat strategy, most likely cooked up in the White House, because (have you noticed!) no one blasts Obama personally (as they would if this were George Bush or Donald Trump).

Here is the story (meme faithfully advanced by the Washington Post):

Religious groups and activists vowed Wednesday to offer refuge to illegal immigrants who are the targets of ongoing federal raids meant to combat a new wave of border-crossing from Central America.

The announcement recalled the sanctuary movement of the 1980s that provided safe haven to several thousand people fleeing civil wars in El Salvador and Guatemala, with churches in Los Angeles, Chicago and other cities sometimes filled with people seeking asylum in the United States.

[….]

At the start of the year, the Obama administration launched a large-scale effort targeting those who have already been ordered to leave the country. About 120 adults and children have been apprehended in raids in several states.

Central American illegal aliens are NOT refugees.  They do not fit the long-understood definition that a refugee or asylum seeker must prove they would be persecuted if they returned to their home country.

Escaping poverty or run-of-the-mill crime is not persecution, but these NO Borders activists have been for years attempting to blur the definition. And, that is mostly because when someone is defined as a refugee all welfare goodies flow their way and they can then bring in the family they left behind.  (Of course the WaPo isn’t going to explain any of that to its readers!).

The effort, which is expected to include several hundred more apprehensions, has drawn sharp criticism from those who advocate for undocumented immigrants. They argue that Central Americans who are entering the country illegally should be offered the same protections extended to Syrian refugees.

Know the enemy:  Marielena Hincapié!

(We’ve reported on Ms.Hincapié previously, here and here)

marielena-hincapie

Instead, Central Americans are being processed for deportation rapidly, sometimes without legal representation, said Marielena Hincapié, executive director of the Los Angeles-based National Immigration Law Center.

“There is basically a hemispheric bias in our refugee system,” Hincapié said. “These families that are also fleeing violence — the same way as other refugees coming from around the world — are not being welcomed to our country. Instead, we are at risk of deporting them back to their persecutors, deporting them back to their death, deporting them back to rape and sexual assault.”

[….]

Noel Andersen, grass-roots coordinator with the Church World Service group for refugees, said his organization has been working to build a network of sanctuaries for the Central Americans being targeted by ICE.

Church World Service (you may know them as the Crop Walk group) is taking the law into its own hands, come on Congress! Cut off their funding!  It is an outrage that you and I, American taxpayers, should be paying their salaries as they break the law!  Let them get their funding from ol’ moneybags George Soros!

This is one more reason why Election 2016 is so important.

***For those who want to dig deeper, we did extensive research on the Sanctuary Movement at Refugee Resettlement Watch (here is just one of many posts).

And, by the way, Maryland’s premiere No Borders agitation group, CASA de Maryland, grew out of that movement when illegal Central Americans (Sandinistas!) were brought to Maryland by the ‘religious Left.’ Be sure to open that link above on CASA and see all the trouble the do-gooders had as the various church groups squabbled with each other and discovered that some of their lovely migrants weren’t so lovely after all.
